Surftech is proud to announce Channin/Siren team rider, and Jupiter Florida local, Kristy Murphy has been crowned 2005 Women’s World Longboarding Champion! Runner-up to Kristy was Surftech Australia team rider, Chelsea Williams. Chelsea was named Australian Women’s Longboard Champion just a few weeks before coming to the Women’s World Longboard Championships. Chelsea rode her 9’0” Takayama “Noah Ka Oi” TUFLITE to a close second place finish. Both girls raised the bar of women’s longboarding with amazing displays of aggressive vertical lip bashes & floaters blended with smooth toe wraps on solid 6’-8’+ walls of water!!
