Il lungo day 7 del Pro France

Dopo quattro giorni di lay day è ripartito oggi il Quiksilver Pro France e con una swell che si preannuncia breve si è sfruttato ogni minuto di luce fino al tramonto inoltrato, disputando tutto il terzo round, la prima heat del quarto e il secondo round del King of the Groms, dove Leonardo Fioravanti con un perfect 10 e un 9.4 ha scalato il vertice del ranking provvisorio risalendo dal 16esimo posto al primo.

Terminato il terzo round si è dato il via al secondo round del King of the Groms, dove Leonardo si trovava in sedicesima posizione nel ranking provvisorio al termine del primo round, avendo preso solo due onde delle tre a disposizione per il conteggio.

Leo non ha perso tempo a recuperare il terreno perduto incassando un incredibile perfect 10 e un 9.4, oltre a un 7.9, punteggi sufficienti a proiettarlo direttamente al vertice del ranking provvisorio.

Ricordiamo che  quest’anno il KOTG è caratterizzato da un formato innovativo studiato in modo da consentire a tutti i rider in gara di disputare almeno 3 round. In base alle tre migliori onde surfate in ciascun round si determinerà la classifica per stabilire i tre surfisti che disputeranno poi la Big Final.
